OPPO launches noise cancelling earbuds called Enco X
The long-awaited day is finally here, with OPPO launching yet another marvellous product called the Enco X, which are premium noise-cancelling earbuds. Earlier in the day, OPPO launched the much-awaited premium 5G smartphone called Reno5 Pro 5G as well.
Promising a host of attractive features such as customizable Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), the OPPO Enco X is one of the higher-spec audio products. The ANC feature allows users to fine-tune the amount of noise being cancelled through four dedicated modes: Max Noise Cancellation, Noise Cancellation, Transparency, and Noise Cancellation Off. OPPO has developed this product in collaboration with the high-fidelity audio brand from Denmark, Dynaudio.
A deep-dive into the specifications
The OPPO Enco X is equipped with 11mm dynamic drivers and 6mm balanced membrane drivers. You also get two dedicated microphones ensuring active noise cancellation and three microphones for call noise reduction. The product is compatible with LHDC (Low Latency and High Definition), DBEE, AAC, and SBC audio codecs, and has a frequency range of 20Hz to 20KHz. The active noise cancellation functionality is taken care of by a dual microphone system.
As far as connectivity is concerned, the OPPO Enco X uses Bluetooth 5.2 with support for binaural low-latency Bluetooth transmission. According to the company’s claims, this helps in delivering synchronized audio. Coming to the battery life, the earbuds boast a 44mAh battery while the charging case comes with a 535mAh battery.
Going by OPPO’s statement to the media, with a single charge, you can enjoy up to 4 hours of music playtime in Max Noise Cancellation mode and a maximum of 20 hours with the charging case. If you turn off the noise cancellation feature, the earphones will last 5.5 hours and an additional 25 hours with the case. The charging case supports USB Type-C wires and Qi wireless charging. You can also expect IP54 dust and water resistance. What’s more, gamers will be superbly impressed by its 47ms.
